Rockwell Group—DRAMA monograph

This career-defining monograph (Phaidon) explores the work of David Rockwell through his lifelong passion for theater. Working with David, Bruce Mau, and a team of collaborators, I helped shape the book’s premise, format, and theater-inflected themes, illustrated through projects from Rockwell Group’s 35-year history alongside key cultural references. DRAMA reveals Rockwell’s human-centered approach and proposes a new language for designing and experiencing the built environment.

SAIC Whatnot Studio—Bliss essay

Dirty Furniture—Bed issue

I contributed two pieces to the final issue of Dirty Furniture, an independent design magazine that uncovers the relationship between people and the things they live with. Using ‘bed’ as a starting point, I unpacked the design origins of the folding futon frame, and shared the history of a 1930s make-your-own-mattress program sponsored by the US Government.
